How to find best yoga teacher training school in India for Hatha?

Although there are various school now a day’s which offers various kind of yoga teaching and the styles and among them the most popular these days is Ashtanga Vinyasa styles and Mysore style but not to forget these popular and over hyped styles of yoga is basically derived from traditional  HATHA Yoga .
Although great masters like Pattabhi Jois and T. Krishnamcharya contribution can’t be ignored in terms of popularizing there styles but at their young age they have followed got trained by practicing the principles of basics of HATHA YOGA, although there styles got famous and recognized all over the world but needless to say that the importance of  HATHA was never faded and those yogi who understood  the science behind HATHA will always advocate it and that is the reason trend of HATHA yoga school always flourish despite the tremendous success of Ashtanaga, Vinyasa , Iyenger or very famous Vikram Yoga.
Search of best school or centre in India for HATHA yoga is always a task for those yoga enthusiast who comes for the first time to India and becomes a confusing deal specially when commercial aspect of few yoga school which render themselves as a traditional yoga school at the same time lost their essence because of their commercial aspect of running their school. The another challenge of running school based on HATHA styles is the less of traffic from western country who are more inclined  with the physical aspect of asana and prefer school which is based on flows like vinyasa or using of props where as HATHA based styles are more of static and of deeper understanding of harmony with breath control.
Although there are few reputed school and organization like Bihar school of yoga and Kaivalaya dham which focus on traditional way of learning but they don’t conduct any TTC course based on 200 hour.
There are few nice school in Rishikesh, Uttarkashi and Mysore  which offer HATHA course based on 200 hour and 500 hour yoga  teacher training and one should always do the proper research before applying to these schools.

How to Choose the best HATHA Yoga teacher training school??

List down the school which offers HATHA based teaching.
Ask them there syllabus and find it out there Morning session asana class, some time few schools teaches HATHA in the morning and in evening they conduct vinyasa or ashtanaga class . This is smart way to find if the school is typical HATHA based or has a liberal approach of catering all kind of students. If you are strictly looking for HATHA style of learning then here is your point to filter these schools based on their syllabus.
Look at their course structure carefully and if you find the school is emphasizing more on postures and  those postures which looks difficult  and are in numbers that mean they are not focusing on correct technique and emphasizing on  physical aspect of yoga which is not the nice idea , it should be learning less but learn with the correct posture.
If possible speak to the school and try to find the way of their teaching and subjects covered in first week then second then third and then final week that is fourth week(for 200 hour teacher training which in general is about one month of time), try to find the number of asana school will be teaching and if the numbers of asana are more than 30 then practically school will be in rush to just cover the syllabus .
Often few schools starts with advance asana in the first week like head stand or inverted pose, and if you are on beginner level you should always avoid with this lucrative pose and keep it mind you have come for yoga training courses and not for circus.
Find out the other subject like Yoga philosophy which is another important aspect of HATHA based centre/school and because the course should be a perfect harmony between asana and their spiritual aspect and that can be only learnt by understanding yoga Philosophy and various Yogic text book written by some great sage and rishi.
Pranayama is another important factor, and serious HATHA school will always focus on importance of Pranayama and breathing technique. Some of the school still follow the ancient HATHA technique in there asana practice and a skilled teacher knows this magic of amalgamation of asana and pranayama. That’s why it’s advisable to do the research on their faculty and if there background.
Meditation is highly ignored in today’s fashion of yoga school where as the base of HATHA is to attain the meditation, if the course syllabus have mediation on priority that mean they value the ancient and traditional way of teaching.
India is a natural destination of yoga lover and all levels of yogis have tremendous possibilities to learn yoga in this land .If chosen wisely there are few nice and non commercial schools and center which serve and teach yoga as a selfless service .As a tradition of this land where teaching was always served free, there are few schools which offer such course and internship/scholarship program and can be a best deal for genuine seeker.
